Ghyll Head will be running a Learn to Sail weekend on the
11th-13th May 2012.

This will be a great opportunity to have a go at learning to  sail on Windermere, England's longest Lake.
Our instructors will spend the weekend introducing you to the fundamentals of dinghy sailing using a range of boats including our 25ft Drascombe Gig, the sporty Laser Stratos and our fleet of Laser Funboats. We will also have an access boat and hoist available for use by participants with limited mobility.
 
During the day we will be using our recently finished barrier free boathouse  that has superb teaching facilities as well as an accessible changing room. The residential accommodation will be based in the Bungalow overlooking Windermere with amazing views of the Coniston and Langdale Fells.

No prior experience of sailing is necessary to book on this course. Please note that during the weekend there will be an option to capsize so we do ask that participants are water confident.
The cost of the course is £180 incl vat. The course fee includes accommodation, instruction, equipment use and all meals.
